Zach Anderson

Zach Anderson enters his fourth year as the Head Golf Coach at LC State in 20245-26. Anderson led the Warrior teams to strong finishes and was rewarded by being voted the Cascade Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year in his first season (2022-23), and again in 2024-25.

Anderson led LC State golf to four tournament wins in 2024-25 with three for the men and one for the women. Alex Navarro led the men's team with two individual wins while Navarro, Oscar Behle, Lucas Ortega and Isabella Barquet each earned All-Cascade Conference honors. The 2023-24 season saw the emergence of Moscow native Bryden Brown. Under Anderson's guidance, Brown won three consecutive tournaments en route to Cascade and NAIA Golfer of the Week honors. Anderson guided the Warrior women to one tournament won and eight top-three finishes. The men totaled two tournament wins and six top-two results.

The LC State men finished the 2022-23 season ranked No. 21 in the national poll and the women were just outside the top 25. The first tournament in Anderson's career was a memorable one as both Warrior teams came away with victories at the Coastal Collegiate Classic. The LC men earned three wins throughout the season and the women won two, and senior Jorgen Lie Viken was named the CCC Golfer of the Year. Viken represented LC State at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship as an individual and finished tied for 37th before being named an All-American. Devon Caruso was voted the golf program's first CSC Academic All-American, earning a spot on the second team.

Anderson played four years of golf at NCAA Division II Mississippi College before transitioning into an assistant coaching role. He graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance before continuing on to earn a Master's in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration. As a coach at MC, Anderson handled the team's recruiting efforts and recruited five top-100 juniors in his three years. He helped the men's team move into the top 100 of the Golfstat rankings, sitting as high as No. 71.

Anderson also served as the Co-Director of Golf at Live Oaks Golf Club in Jackson, Miss., where he organized tournaments and ran clinics for all ages. He and his wife, Lexi, reside in Lewiston.
